School Rules – Prabha Public School

Each student must carry his almanac and identity card to school every day.
A student should affix his/her photograph and write the required information, day signed by a parent, in the space provided for in the almanac.
Students who come to school on their own should the school before school timing.
Students are not allowed to bring mobile to school. They do so, it will be confiscated.
Changing of classroom between period should be done in an orderly manner and silently. Student should not unnecessarily leave their class at the end of every period.
Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worm on all working days and for all school function. Students who are slovenly dressed or not in uniform will be sent home. Use of hair gel is not allowed. Wearing low waist trousers if forbidden.
All boys (except Sikhs) must keep their hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly with a green band.
Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
No book (other than text books or library book). Magazines or paper should be brought to the school.
Lending or borrowing of money or other articles in not allowed.
Students who come to school escorted should never leave before the escort arrives. In case of delay. They should report to the school office.
Parents and guardians may meet the teacher during the specified time.
Students using the school bus will maintain discipline in the bus.
The school insists on the following measures to be observed by the member of staff and all students. Care must be taken to observe the “green rules” in order to maintain clean. Green surrounding. That is, school premises will not be littered with disposable tumblers, paper or polythene bags. If polythene bags are brought to school, care should be taken not to dispose them off in the school ground minimal use of polythene tags or pluck flowers and tree.

Students are expected to respect school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to other. Any school property damaged even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or the vice-principal or the principal.
Students are advised to keep their class room, school building and campus as clean as possible and throw leftovers into the dustbins.
The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches or pencil, fountain pens) to school.
19. Fees can by paid by cheque/draft/cash within the stipulated time.
No student shall indulge in any of the following practices, namely
Writing on the shirts or uniform.
Spitting in or near the school building.
Smoking.
Any form of gambling.
Use of drugs of intoxicants, except on prescription by a registered medical practitioner.
Rowdies and rude behavior.
Use of violence in any form.
Under no condition is a student permitted to bring a mobile phone to the school.
No student is allowed to visit any of kiosks situated outside the school and if found doing so, he will be subjected to punishment.

A Permission card signed by the teacher (in charge of a period) must be carried by a child going to the clinic for treatment.
A vaccination record must be produced at the start of the year if the child is not completely immunized.
Students should not join other students in violent, destructive activities or they will be subjected to punishment.
Students will not boycott the orders, directions and instructions given to them by the school authorities.
Students who fail in two subject may be allowed a compartment for re-appearing in the subject, subject to his previous result in terminal exams.

Students will not do anything to disturb the principal and norms of school discipline.
School rules can be changed without prior notice or reason.

Attendance-

It is compulsory for all students to complete 75% attendance before every exam to make them eligible to sit for the examination. In case attendance is short, student will not be eligible promotion/any academic award.
Repeated absences without leave or unexplained absence for more than consecutive day renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls;readmission may be granted only on.
All children are expected to attend school on the opening day after every vacation and must be present before closing for the vacation. Those absent because of sickness must present a medical certificate with 3 day of absence through fax, a representative or school website. Boarders will not be given permission to leave the school before vacation.
A child returning to school after suffering from an infections or contagious disease should produce a fitness certificate from a doctor.
Students suffering from any of the following disease must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.
Chicken pox-till complete falling of scabs.
Cholera0till the child is completely will.
Measles-two weeks after the rash disappears.
Mumps-until the swelling has gone.
Whooping cough-six weeks.
Jaundice-six weeks.
Only those students will be put on duty that represent the school while playing a tournament, a sport or participate in other event. Any student, not representing the school, will have no such claim.
